And what's the best way to welcome spring? We have some tips for you and show you some particularly beautiful Places and activities in spring.

Tratzberg Castle 

Tratzberg Castle in Jenbach is the perfect place for a short day trip: The imposing castle impresses with a combination of centuries-old tradition and advanced digitalisation. When visiting the castle, visitors are not only able to physically explore the ancient rooms - such as the Habsburg Hall, the Gothic Fuggerstube and the King's Room - but also to experience the modern digitalisation.  but also to experience a wide variety of historical events up close using virtual reality glasses. For example, you can travel back in time and immerse yourself in the 13th century: The castle, which is steeped in history, was first mentioned in a source at that time and originally served as a border fortress against Bavaria. During the audio tour, led by none other than the lord of the castle himself, participants can even touch and try on knights' helmets and swords. If swords and real knight's helmets are not your thing, you will definitely enjoy the fairytale tour - this is specially designed for children, who meet the emperor, the queen and the castle ghost "Tratzi".   

Snow rose hike

Just a few kilometres from Mutters you can see the snow lilies in bloom in Kufstein: These small, protected snow blossoms enchant numerous hikers every year. This hike is perfect for a family outing and rewards you with a magnificent view of a sea of white flowers. This is only five minutes by car from the hotel and is is an excellent starting point for hikes and other alpine adventures. Whether a leisurely circular hike or more challenging, more extensive hikes  - There is something for everyone here! There is also an adventure playground and activity park for children, so that they too can get their money's worth on a visit to the Mutterer Alm and enjoy the best entertainment and fun.
