Privacy policy

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Contact with us

If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing your enquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your end device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your end device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit.

If you do not want this, you can set up your browser so that it informs you about the setting of cookies and you only allow this in individual cases.

If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of our website may be restricted.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Google Analytics, a tool of Google LLC (hereinafter referred to as "Google"), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable your use of the website to be analysed. The information generated in this way is transferred to the provider's server and stored there.

You can prevent this by setting up your browser so that no cookies are stored.

We have concluded a corresponding contract with the provider for commissioned data processing.

The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, the so-called "Privacy Shield", to which Google has committed itself.

Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymised. This means that only a rough localisation is possible. Data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of Section 96 (3) TKG and Article 6 (1) (a) (consent) and/or (f) (legitimate interest) of the GDPR. Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website. As the privacy of our users is important to us, the user data is pseudonymised.

easybooking

Our online room reservations are managed via the easybooking system. When booking our rooms, you will therefore be redirected to the easybooking booking system. At this point we would therefore like to refer you to the detailed Privacy policy of easybooking, which you must agree to in the course of your booking.

Newsletter

You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter. To do this, we need your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter.

As soon as you have registered for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your registration.

You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation to the following e-mail address: info@dasmei.at. We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch. This cancellation does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the cancellation.

The company EVITA Consulting e.U., Innsbruck, manages our newsletter. The newsletter is sent using the mailing service provider "MailChimp", a newsletter mailing platform of the US provider Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave NE #5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA. You can view the privacy policy of the mailing service provider here: https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/. The Rocket Science Group LLC d/b/a MailChimp is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thus offers a guarantee of compliance with the European level of data protection (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt0000000TO6hAAG&status=Active). The shipping service provider is used on the basis of our legitimate interests in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR and an order processing contract pursuant to Art. 28 para. 3 sentence 1 GDPR.

The mailing service provider may use the recipients' data in pseudonymous form, i.e. without assigning it to a user, to optimise or improve its own services, e.g. to technically optimise the mailing and presentation of the newsletter or for statistical purposes. However, the mailing service provider does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write to them itself or to pass the data on to third parties.

The newsletters contain a so-called "web-beacon", i.e. a pixel-sized file that is retrieved from our server when the newsletter is opened or, if we use a dispatch service provider, from their server. As part of this retrieval, technical information, such as information about the browser and your system, as well as your IP address and the time of retrieval are initially collected.

This information is used for the technical improvement of the services based on the technical data or the target groups and their reading behaviour based on their retrieval locations (which can be determined with the help of the IP address) or the access times. The statistical surveys also include determining whether the newsletters are opened, when they are opened and which links are clicked. For technical reasons, this information can be assigned to individual newsletter recipients. However, it is neither our endeavour nor, if used, that of the mailing service provider to observe individual users. The analyses serve us much more to recognise the reading habits of our users and to adapt our content to them or to send different content according to the interests of our users.

A separate cancellation of the performance measurement is unfortunately not possible, in this case the entire newsletter subscription must be cancelled.

Your rights

In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, cancellation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
