A house with history.
Built in 1904 by Olga Stromberger, the house has changed hands many times over the decades.
Having previously operated as an inn, Karl Stark built the remaining extension in 1941, including the well-known hall, where several wedding celebrations and balls were held in the following years - in 1962 he built the hotel entrance hall - in 1979 he handed over the inn to his children.
After the hotel only had a corridor shower and a corridor toilet, all rooms were remodelled and fitted with hotel bathrooms in 1974.
In 2009, the Stark family took a well-earned retirement and decided to sell the Muttererhof.
The ground-breaking ceremony in 2015 marked the beginning of a new era for the Muttererhof. The foundation walls were retained, the building was extended, an underground car park and wellness facilities were built, as well as a second hotel wing.
