Our Easter DIYs

Easter is fast approaching and with the annual Easter celebrations, bunnies, Easter baskets and flowers are waiting to move into your home. How about sitting down with family or friends on a relaxed Sunday and working on your Easter decorations together? We at dasMei**** have put together our craft ideas for you to guarantee a relaxed Easter atmosphere in your own four walls!

Jam jar vase

You need

- An old glass
- Flowers
- Glass crayons
- Stickers

We think tips that can be combined with sustainability are particularly great and are therefore very fond of the jam jar vase, our insider tip for a beautiful Easter. We're sure that everyone has an empty jar at home and flowers can be bought quickly or picked from the garden. Pens for stained glass, stickers and springtime ribbons can also be quickly obtained to decorate the jar and show off the chosen plants to their best advantage.

Our tip: With a transparent jar, you can see the roots of hyacinths or crocuses, which also makes them eye-catching - decorate with ribbons and stickers and your spring DIY is ready.

Paper birds

You need

- Clay paper
- Scissors
- Transparent thread

Of course, we also have something up our sleeve for those of you who don't enjoy a green thumb: our beautiful paper birds decorate every palm kitten and bring a touch of childlike playfulness into your home. To start, draw the template on coloured paper and then cut it out. Don't forget: You need to cut a small line where the wings will be. Use a second piece of paper - we find that patterned coloured paper works really well for this - to create an accordion fold. Then thread the wings through with a little dexterity, attach a transparent string and the paper birds are ready to add the finishing touches to your home for a successful Easter.

Easter bunny egg cup

You need

- Clay paper
- Felt-tip pens and coloured pencils
- Scissors
- Small, colourful cotton wools
- Pencil and eraser

Practical decoration combines everyday things with aesthetics, which is why we like it all the more! And with these cute egg cups, it's hard to resist. First, take an old egg carton and cut it in such a way that you have the partition in the centre of the carton and an egg cup together. The partition is the chicken's head and the bottom of the chicken with the egg inside. Next, cut the rooster's comb and beak out of red coloured paper and stick it to the high side of the egg carton. Then just add the eyes and the face is ready! The feathers provide the finishing touch and you have functional and very pretty egg cups that are sure to put you in a spring mood.

dasMei**** hopes that you like the Easter ideas and that you can get in the mood for Easter with your loved ones! And psst: The Easter bunny has whispered to us that he feels particularly at home at dasMei**** - so feel free to drop by.
