From a classic iced coffee to creative and healthy combinations, we have something for everyone. Let's discover the art of cooling off in summer together!

1. homemade iced coffee - classic reinterpreted

Let's start with a modern twist on the classic iced coffee. This refreshing drink combines the aromatic flavour of coffee with a creamy texture and a refreshing chill.

Ingredients:

  • - 1 cup of freshly brewed coffee, cooled
  • - 1/2 cup milk (or almond milk for a vegan option)
  • - 1-2 teaspoons sugar (to taste)
  • - 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • - Ice cubes
  • - Whipped cream and cocoa powder for garnish (optional)

Preparation:

Firstly, put the cooled coffee, milk, sugar and vanilla extract in a blender and blend until well combined and frothy. Next, fill a glass with ice cubes until well combined and frothy. Then fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the iced coffee over it. Finally, refine the iced coffee with whipped cream and a pinch of cocoa powder, stir and then enjoy!

Ginger and mint iced tea - invigorating refreshment

For an invigorating and refreshing option, we recommend a ginger and mint iced tea, which is not only cooling but also healthy.

Ingredients:

  • - 4 bags of green tea
  • - 1 piece of fresh ginger, peeled and sliced
  • - Handful of fresh mint leaves
  • - Honey or agave syrup (to taste)
  • - Ice cubes
  • - Lemon slices for garnish

Preparation:

Brew the tea bag according to the instructions and leave to cool. Then pour the cooled tea into a jug and add ginger and mint leaves. Now it's time to wait: the tea needs to infuse for a few hours to develop its flavours. Before serving, sweeten with honey or agave syrup to taste and your iced tea is ready!

2. fruity watermelon lemonade - sweet refreshment

For a fruity and sweet refreshment, we recommend a watermelon lemonade that quenches thirst and delights the palate.

Ingredients:

  • - 4 cups fresh watermelon, diced and cored
  • - Juice of 2 lemons
  • - 1-2 tablespoons honey (to taste)
  • - Mint leaves for garnish
  • - Ice cubes

Preparation:

To start, place the diced watermelon in a blender and puree until smooth. Now pour the watermelon juice through a sieve to remove any seeds. Now mix the watermelon juice, lemon juice and honey in a jug. Finally, fill the glasses with ice cubes and pour the watermelon lemonade over them. For an extra kick of freshness, garnish the glass with mint leaves and serve immediately.

With these refreshing recipes, you'll be well equipped to enjoy the summer heat and quench your thirst at the same time. Whether you opt for the classic iced coffee, the fruity watermelon lemonade or the invigorating ginger and mint iced tea, you're sure to be refreshed and revitalised. Cheers to a summer full of delicious refreshments!
