Wellness at home

Sometimes everything becomes too much and threatens to get out of hand, because we often want to fulfil all the demands and forget ourselves in the process. But we put an end to all that! We've picked out our top tips for a relaxing spa day at home, which you can use to transform your own four walls into a spa oasis.

However, a beauty day like this needs to be planned: Scented candles, healthy snacks, essential oils and aromatic herbal teas are essential for the right spa ambience and guarantee you a revitalising spa experience.

Preparation

The perfect wellness day actually starts the evening before. Sufficient sleep is particularly important and helps you to start the next day relaxed. Stress factors such as appointments and commitments should have already been dealt with in advance.

Tip no. 1

A balanced breakfast is essential for a good start to the day. Fresh ingredients such as fruit and vegetables or a healthy muesli with natural yoghurt are perfect for this. If you combine your breakfast with unsweetened herbal tea or water with fresh lemon, you have created the perfect basis to prepare your body for the day.

Tip no. 2

Our lives have become so fast-paced thanks to our mobile phones that a conscious "digital detox" can do wonders for our minds: Not checking your emails and not being reachable all the time - sounds unimaginable, but it brings us a lot of peace and relaxation and that's exactly what we need on a spa day. So, put your mobile phone on flight mode for a few hours and clear your head!

Tip no. 3

What would a wellness day be without a wonderfully fragrant bubble bath? A warm bath is literally the epitome of relaxation. If you add scented candles and essential oils, pure relaxation is guaranteed. But it's not just for relaxation, its warmth also loosens up tense muscles. If you don't have a bathtub in your little wellness oasis, you can also take a long, lavish shower and really let yourself go!

Tip no. 4

After the warm water from the shower or bath has opened our pores, now is the perfect time for a homemade, natural face mask. Our favourite mask is a refreshing avocado mask. Mash up an avocado to moisturise, then add a tablespoon of yoghurt for a cooling effect and finally add a little honey, which has an antibacterial effect and prevents impurities. For the ultimate wellness experience, place two cucumber slices on your closed eyes and leave the mask on your face for at least 15 minutes.

Tip no. 5

Now we've taken care of the face and body, all that's left is the hands and feet: it's best to start with a nourishing, fast-absorbing cream to prevent dry and rough patches. Once the cream has been absorbed, you can push back the cuticles with a rosewood. Finally, file your nails into shape and if you want, you can paint your nails. We recommend a plain colour or clear polish.

We wish you lots of fun and relaxation for your spa day at home! If you want to experience completely carefree wellness, you are welcome to visit our excellent spa area and have a good time!
