Easy hike through the larch forest

Just 15 kilometres from dasMEI, in Kapfers, there is an easy route for real connoisseurs. The marvellous hike starts out steeper, but then becomes a moderate circular route. Guided through a golden autumn forest and with fantastic views over the lower Inn Valley and the surrounding mountains, this hike will delight young and old alike. The way back to the starting point takes you across lush autumn meadows and a panoramic view of the Serles.

Moderately difficult hike to the Jochkreuz

If you want to increase the level of difficulty and the metres in altitude a little, we recommend the mountain hike from Telfes to the Jochkreuz - from the parish church in Telfs, along forest roads and meadows where grassy and mountain pine-covered mountain faces meet. After around 12 kilometres, the summit of the Saale, also known as the Nockspitze, is the highlight of the hike and offers a picturesque view over the Inn and Stubaital valleys. The way back is initially downhill to the other side of the summit and via the Pfarrachsteig trail, which leads back to Telfes.

Difficult hike to the Schlicker See lake

15 kilometres from dasMEI, the hike to Lake Schlicker See begins. A certain level of fitness is required for this route - if you have it, nothing stands in the way of this idyllic autumn hike. From the Schlicker Schartl, it's just a few minutes' walk to the real highlight: Lake Schlicker See lies between primary rock and limestone, which not only delights with its magnificent views, but also its crystal-clear water. On the way back, the Schlicker Alm, the Kreuzjoch panorama restaurant or the Starkenburg Hütte invite you to stop for a bite to eat.

The way back follows the same route with a possible stop at the Adolf-Pichler-Hütte at 1977m.
