The Christmas countdown is on! The enchanting Tyrolean mountains are covered in snow, the houses are beautifully illuminated and the Christ Child is not far away. Christmas is in the air. In the truest sense of the word - because Christmas is not only the festival of love, but also the festival of flavours. And of course not only when it comes to typical Christmas delicacies such as speculoos, gingerbread and the like - typical Christmas drinks also sweeten our hearts and palates. Which flavour should definitely not be missed during Advent? Without a doubt: baked apple! There's simply nothing like a cup of baked apple punch to bring the evening to a cosy close after an exciting day in the snow. But you don't necessarily have to leave the house for it. You can make this Christmas classic yourself in no time at all. We'll show you how!
The perfect baked apple punch: here's how to make it

You will need the following ingredients:
- ½ organic lemon
- 200 ml clear apple juice
- 40 g brown sugar candy
- 800 ml water
- 4 bags of apple tea
- 1 vanilla pod
- 4 cinnamon sticks
- 10 cloves
- 12 allspice grains
- 100 ml amaretto

This is how it works
Step 1: Rinse half the lemon in hot water and cut into even slices.
Step 2: Heat the apple juice with the lemon slices, the split vanilla pod, the rock sugar and the remaining spices. Leave to infuse over a medium heat with the lid on for about 15-20 minutes.
Step 3: Bring the water to the boil and pour over the apple tea. Leave the tea to infuse for about 8 minutes so that it becomes really flavoursome and then remove the tea bags.
Step 4: Remove the spices and lemon slices from the juice. Mix the tea with the flavoured juice and bring to the boil again briefly. Stir in a little amaretto for that extra kick. Serve the flavoured baked apple punch hot in cups and garnish with cinnamon sticks and apple slices as desired.
Et voila - a baked apple punch to fall in love with! It warms the cockles of your heart. Add a few delicious Christmas biscuits or roasted almonds and the perfect Christmas treat is complete. Now all you have to do is sit back and enjoy! We hope you have fun making them and say PROST!
