Are you looking for a new, delicious hot drink to sweeten your morning? Then we have just the thing for you: an aromatic chai latte with delicious spices and an irresistible milk foam. The oriental drink, which is traditionally drunk in India, has long since captured the hearts of Europeans - and with this uniquely delicious flavour, it's no wonder. We'll tell you how you can easily make your own chai latte. Let's get started!
The perfect start to the morning: chai latte
To prepare a classic chai latte, you will need:
- Black tea (tea bags or loose tea)
- Cinnamon powder
- Clove powder
- Cardamom powder
- Sugar (alternatively, maple syrup can also be used)
- 500 ml (plant) milk
- Optional: freshly grated ginger

And this is how it works:
Bring water to the boil in a saucepan or kettle and pour the hot water over the black tea.
Leave the tea to infuse for about five minutes so that it becomes really aromatic.
Then mix the spices and sugar into the tea.
Now pour your flavoured tea into a cup - make sure you leave enough space for the milk.
Then froth your milk of choice using a milk frother and pour it over the tea.
If you like, you can now garnish your drink with a pinch of cinnamon. Et voila: Now it's time to enjoy your tea time-out!
We hope you enjoy trying them out and wish you a good start to the morning! Enjoy your aromatic chai latte and let yourself be whisked away to faraway places, at least in terms of flavour.
