The breathtaking building is surrounded by an idyllic garden that invites you to take a romantic stroll. But there is also plenty to discover inside the castle - whether the exciting armouries, the magnificent Ambras art collections or the mystical Antiquarium - you are guaranteed not to get bored at Ambras Castle.<\/p>\n<p>Ambras Castle, which was first mentioned in the 11th century, fell to the Habsburgs in 1363, who later expanded it into a truly magnificent palace. The castle is considered to be the first museum in the world and is still preserved in its original location. Although it is centuries old, it has arrived in the digital age and is therefore extremely modern: Visitors to Tratzberg Castle have the opportunity to embark on a virtual reality journey through time and experience the history of this imposing building up close.<\/p>\n<p>Tratzberg Castle, which was mentioned in documents as early as the 13th century, originally served as a border fortress against Bavaria. At the end of the 15th century, the castle was completely destroyed in a fire. As a border town between Tyrol and Bavaria, Kufstein Fortress has a rather warlike and exciting history behind it. There has definitely always been a lot going on at the fortress. Nowadays, Kufstein Fortress is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in the Tyrolean lowlands.<\/p>\n<p>The fortress was mentioned in writing as early as 1205 and was later conquered and extended by Emperor Maximilian I in 1504. Today, Kufstein Fortress is not only a popular attraction for culture vultures, but also a popular venue for theatre and concert events.
