Easter is just around the corner and you want to add a little Easter flair to your home? Easter decorations don't always have to be expensive - many craft ideas can easily be made at home without too much effort. The great thing about DIY is that it leaves plenty of room for creativity and allows you to spend quality time with the whole family. You and your loved ones can conjure up a festive atmosphere in your home in no time at all and make the anticipation of Easter even greater. You will need the following craft supplies for our craft idea:<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Knitting tube made from paper yarn in various colours<\/strong>
\nAluminium wire<\/strong>
\nCraft scissors<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

And this is how it works:<\/h4>\n

Before you start bending the aluminium wire, you need to cut the wire to size. To make a rabbit, you will need about 90 cm of the aluminium wire. For a small egg, you will need two wires, each about 35 cm long. For a larger Easter egg, you will also need two wires, each about 55 cm long.<\/p>\n

Once your wire has been cut to size, take your knitting tube and pull it over the aluminium wire. When you have reached the end of the wire, cut the knitting tube with the craft scissors. Repeat this with all the wires and use different colours to make the decoration colourful.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>

Now you can start bending the wire. If you want to form a rabbit, start with a straight piece that is about 10 cm long and then bend the wire to the left to form the first leg. Now work your way round in a clockwise direction and shape the wire according to the template until you reach the cross point again. Twist the remaining wire as shown in the illustration so that the bunny plug is properly stable. If the ends are different lengths, you can simply cut them to size.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>

If you want to make two-coloured Easter eggs, take two aluminium wires of the same length that are covered with different knitting tubes. Twist the two wires evenly to create a pattern. Then shape the Easter eggs by starting with a piece approx. 5 cm long and working your way round again in a clockwise direction. At the crossing point, twist the wires together again and cut them off at the same length.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n<\/div>
